The game loads up but doesnt allow you to move any pieces. I guess they are still working out the kinks...?

It works very well
It works very well with my chromecast. I play against other people with all my iOS devices. It works perfectly on the 4s, 5s,iPad 2, and iPad Air 2! Its a fun simple app. I honestly cant wait for chess version
